If DVDA 2.0 really comes out at NAB as the mysteriously vanishing Sony press releases have been saying, there's no way they'd be looking at suggestions for it this late in the cycle. Whatever they are coming out with is probably in the final testing stages.

You are absolutely correct. I guess, i meant more like "here's some things that I sure HOPE are going to be in the forthcoming version 2.0."

I would be happy if all it had was end-actions. That’s the only thing that’s missing for me. An added bonus would be the ability so save your setup as a template. Editing XML is not exactly an elegant solution.

Everything that's in DVD Studio Pro, especially scripting. The first DVD authoring tool (under $6,000 that is) that has the advanced functionality that a DVD authoring program SHOULD have will be the one I buy.

Until then I'm boycotting the whole industry since apparently nobody can see the forest for the trees. Sad.
