I just thought I'd post my kudos to the Vegas team for implementing project nesting and event reversal in Vegas 6.0. I love these features. Reversing sound clips will allow me to explore new sound effect possibilities, and project nesting will improve my workflow tons.

With these two features, you can also quite conveniently do the "reverse reverb" effect that's often been used in horror movies. Coolness. :)

Just in case someone's curious, here's how:

1) Place the voice clip into a channel and reverse it.
2) Give this project a long reverb effect. Save the project into a file.
3) Start a new Vegas project, and nest the project you saved into the new project. Reverse it. The result: the voice clip plays forwards, but the reverb is in reverse.
