No, you need more computer power,(faster cpu), and probably more RAM, and maybe faster and bigger hard drive..

I just confuse why my p3 733 can run 40-ch audio and no problem?

If the buffer settings are long enough, any computer can render 40-channel audio.

You are just giving your computer enough time to do the processing required.

vv3 can rander unlimited channal
But can`t play smooth when too much channal(diffent with each computer)

During the mix, you might want to shut off the draw for waveforms. This will lessen the load too..

It means you have the option of "seeing" the waveforms in each event -- your computer has to draw those and it takes up processor time. You can turn that feature off.

I still don't know why you don't just mix down some of your audio and decrease the number of tracks that way...

The option he is talking about is: Options > Preferences > General > "Draw waveforms and frames in events"
