I Now Can't render MPGEG2s ?

I've installed V6c and DVDA3c and I now - arrgghhh - get intermittent Vegas total failures, ranging from 2% to 11%. I get the "Vegas has encountered a problem and will now need to shut down. We are sorry for the inconvenience" . . or something along those lines.

I've tried the templates for "DVD Architect PAL Video stream" and straight "DVD PAL" - and apart from one render, both with equal failure.

I have done the usual available to an end user, defrag and housekeeping and the like, here I stand wishing I hadn't updated.

Oh yes, I CAN render AVIs without any problem at all. I'm only having MPEG issues AND SINCE installing the Vegas6c and DVDA3c.

Help!

I would first try a re-install of the codecs or a cmplete re-install of both. This is just a guess but one that will at least rule out a corrupt upgrade if that is what you just did.

I tink it may be possible that you a conflict with another foreigh codec that is not working well with Vegas. Not sure exactly how you can determine that unless you un-install the foreign codecs and try it again. Do you have the latest Microsoft codecs?
