Hey guys,

Last week here in Vancouver Canada we had our annual Sun Run which is a walk/jog/run event that about 50 thousand people participate. The course goes right by my apartment and this year I thought I'd get my hungover butt out and go look at all the healthy people. I brought my Elura and tripod and managed to secure a spot up on a grassy knoll. ( don't ask )

The view I had was looking right down the street that took a gentle incline away and up from me. You really can't imagine the "sea of people" effect until you see one coming right at you. I set up and rolled tape and managed to get some wonderful sea of people shots in bright beautiful colors in progressive scan format.

Now unless you get together ten thousand or so of your friends, this footage can be a little hard to come by so I thought I'd offer about 60 seconds or so to anyone that wants a ( compressed ) version of it. I'd thought I'd do this post and see who's interested then see who has a place I can upload to. Any formats and compression ideas will also be considered.

Just a little something I'd live to give back to the Vegas community. Lemme know guys...

Stan

There's always VegasUsers.com. If you create a quicktime MOV file at the highest bitrate it will probably come close to DV quality and still be a relatively small file. I notice that this is the format that SONY usually uses for all the sample clips they include on the extra CDs.

I agree with Kelly. Can you post it on VegasUsers?
