it's all iPod and HD. And lots and lots of updated/new stuff. But it's VERY fun and busy. Sony has a very unique booth, Monster has some new iPod stuff, lotsa computer junk, Nero, Microsoft, DishNetwork all have amazingly busy display areas. The FMC training conference is busy. Lotsa new stuff based on the old stuff, but it's very colorful. Like returning to the 70's again.

Funniest thing I saw was a short clip of talk show host,Conan O'brien helping Bill Gates with a presentation of Microsofts 'media center'. Bill Gates is showing how this one remote control, controls everything and is about to show a slide picture show to everybody, and of course, the system crashes. Twice. Conan joked "Who's in charge of Microsoft?...Ooooh. Everybody laughed an you could really tell Bill was PO'd big time.
This will take you to the stations site and there are a few links there. (no video though). They may want you to sign up for a newsletter or something. Not sure, I joined Tech TV long before G4 bought in to it. But there are some links there. It's half way down the page. CES. If you have access to G4/Tech TV through a Satellite system, it was on a show called 'The Screen Savers' Jan 6, 2005.
The last CES show I went to a few years back I went with a few buddies so instead of my normal Michael Moore look complete with baggy pants and baseball cap, I dressed up including putting on a pair of seldom worn too tight dress shoes.
Well as anyone knows that's been to this kind of show, its easy to walk what seems like miles and miles to see all the stuff and there are few places to sit down. Problem is I had an ingrown toenail (I know, probably more then you care to know) but by the time that day was over I was in agony and limping along.
Next time I go to one, I'm wearing sandals or going barefoot.
