I want to edit my dragged timeline in the trimmer

Is there a way to drag three segments to the timeline and then somehow put all three on the trimmer. Now when I try to select all three only the right-clicked one goes on the trimmer. What I really need is a way to put all the takes together and edit them as one.

Just curious, but what do you need to do in the trimmer that you can't do in the timeline?

I don't think what you want is possible. You could render them as 1 avi and then put in the trimmer, but that's probely it.

There is nothing that I can't do in the timeline. I just captured a tape and accidentally had scene detection on and had to drag 30 raw cuts on to the timeline. After a awhile I just thought that I was wasting time deleting, etc. and thought that it would be better to start with the trimmer, mark regions, and then drag to the timeline. I turned scene capture off.
