I cant find TEXT MEDIA object in the API. How can I import a text file which contains 2 text line and 2 timecodes and implemet subtitle generation in vegas 5 with TEXT MEDIA or similar object??
I did that a long time ago with corel script in corel draw but cant find it here in vegas.
Does anybody have experience generating TEXT MEDIA object or a way to do that??
I want to automate subtitle generating for movie projects using text files.

Read the text file and create REGIONS with that text as the label name.

I want to have the text as subtitle like DVD architect and the vegas help says that :

Regions can be used to indicate sections of projects such as credits or scenes, or they can be used to make notes in the project.

And there is also a limit of 99 regions in a project and i may need 1000 subtitles in a project. I think region is not the solution i need.

There is a script that will export the regions for putting sub-titles into DVD Architect. If you are wanting titles actually in Vegas instead of DVDA, you'll need to add them all MANUALLY

You can have mrore than 99 regions. The limitation is that only the first 99 are NUMBERED so that they can be accessed by pressing the number keys.
