IEEE 1394A or B

While looking for the IEEE 1394 card I find IEEE 1394 A (400 MBPS) and 1394 B (800 MBPS), and some are combo. Any suggestion which one will be suitable for video capture by Vegas.

Either. They both have far more headroom than you will ever need. Make sure the 1394 drivers are compatible with your OS.

Yes, in general it's best to let Windows try to install it's own 1394 drivers first. Only use the drivers that come with the card if Windows can't get it's own working.
