Plugin? - It is said to be a standalone application.

Perhaps THAT is why I don't see it IN Vegas!

Thanks!

I use Boris in 4.0 I have not downloaded 5.0 yet but I assume it will be the same.

When you open either the transitions or the video effects explorer. Boris Graffiti should be listed as on option on the list.

You drag just as you would any other transition or video effect to the time line.

It then should launch just like a transition does. One thing to remember is to make sure the video preview window is open and the timeline cursor is on the timeline where you need the effect.

Hope this helps.

Can anybody verify this? Looks like a stand-alone app to me. Couldn't get Vegas 5.0a to show anything related to Boris in the transitiions.

Also couldn't find any DLLs in the install, which makes me think it's just a stand-alone app.

Oh well. Would have liked to have seen better integration of this plug-in. Still, for $199 it's hard to complain.

Yup---the titling issue was addressed through the add-on program--not integrated with Vegas---I guess that's one way to skin a cat but I'm not sure its the best way.

Well, I rarely need fancy titling in my productions. Still -- it would be nice to have it occasionally.

I take the "Woody Allen" approach in my credits -- very minimalist, but with some appropriate music or sound in the background.

The full Boris Graffiti is about $200 with a Vegas discount. Can't justify that yet unless I get a paying gig that requires it.

So then it's true, Boris is not included with the trial version?

Not with the trial version---
