Hi, i'm editing a buch of events on the timeline, with "ignore event grouping" off. Or better...within this project i'm working, i never used the "ignore event grouping". I'm basically scrolling trough the videoevents, cutting out unwanted video (using "split" to cut). Though, on one particular event when i want to split it, it splits the video, not the audio. The previous and next events though split video+audio fine. How come, how to solve this problem?

That particular event was already ungrouped when you split it and in such case, the Ignore Event Grouping function has no effect. Most often you ungrouped it by accidently pressing U on your keyboard which is the shortcut for Ungroup.

Basically select both the audio and video clips (Left mouse click while holding Ctrl) and press G on your keyboard which is the the shortcut for Group.

You can also access those functions with the right mouse click, and selecting Group from the list menu. See screenshot for right mouse menu:
