Image sequence output

I am editing some material before going to post-production. I am used to work with image sequences, and I found you can not output an image sequence in Vegas. I have been using Vegas for less than a month, so maybe this is a silly question, but is there any way to output an image sequence as the result of your render? Is uncompresed AVI the only "whole data" alternative?

Cheers
Juan

Download the scripts from the Vegas 4 download page. One of those scripts is a "RenderImageSequence" script. That script will render an image sequence for you.

in vegas 4 you can run script that will output to 24bit PNG or jpg image sequences, I use it all the time.

I don't know how you guys have the patience for those scripts. They work, but dear God. They're unbearably slow for projects any longer than a couple minutes.

Do yourself a favor Juan and get Satish's frameserver plug-in and frameserve to Virtualdub. From there, output your project as an image sequence (right there in the "File" drop down menu). It's about 20x faster.

Frameserver:

Virtuldub:
