Image Size On TV - Whacked

I created mpgs in Vegas MS using images - 658x480 images worked out great. The movies were created using the DVD Architect template - thus, no rendering required. The images are the same size when played back on a computer - everything is kosher. When played back on my TV, the image is cropped a little on the top/bottom, and more on the left/right. Odd thing, it lost more on the right than on the left. Is this a common problem? Will other TVs show it the same as mine did? Thanks in advance for the repsonse(s). Ciao.

Your TV sounds a bit more whacked than others, but the cropping you describe is common on TVs.

If you want to learn more about it, search for "safe area" here in the forum. Bottom line is that you will almost always see some sort of cropping on your TV versus what you see on your computer, and that different TVs will have different amounts of cropping.
