Import 3GP to Vegas?

Hello,

does anyone know of a way to import 3PG files (MP4 from a mobile telephone) into Vegas?

I've found utility that converts to AVI, but the sound is lost along the way, so it's not much use.

Installing Quicktime should allow 3G files to open in Vegas.

That's what I thought. I can load .mov files without problem, but files with the MP4 extension will not load onto the timeline although the QickTime player will replay them perfectly.

GSpot tells me the files use the MPEG4 codec... I'll try reinstalling QuickTime.

Don't worry - I forgot I have Quicktime Pro, and that allows me to export at an AVI. What a fool I am!
