Import Audio Playlists into Sony Vegas Pro

If you've had the need to simultaneously import multiple audio files into Vegas from an .M3U or .WPL Audio Playlist file, I've just added a third way to accomplish this task from my growing collection of free utility programs for Vegas Pro.

My free Timeline Tools Vegas Add-In supports this natively, as does my lightweight Vegas Import Playlist Script. Now you can accomplish this using my latest stand-alone utility program: Playlist Tools.

Playlist Tools is a program for working with .M3U and .WPL Audio Playlist Files. Playlist Tools lets you View, Manipulate, Repair, Convert, and Play single playlist entries, or the entire Playlist using your default Audio player.

You can Drag a Playlist from Windows Explorer into Playlist Tools to open it up. And you can Drag and Drop either the entire set of Playlist files, or just a single file from Playlist tools to any other program that can accept files dropped from Windows Explorer. This feature lets you open a Playlist in Playlist Tools, then drag all the Playlist files into programs that do not natively support Importing Playlists directly; such as Sony Vegas Pro and CD Architect.

I'd appreciate any comments or feedback from anyone who gives the program a try.
