I bought a DVDDirect to convert analogue to digital, and this feature of Import DVD Camcorder disc really saves alot of time.
I don't know why, but discs I make with my VRD-MC3 (the DVDirect burner) can be imported really easily, except for the last chapter.
It looks to be only when importing discs made by VRD-MC3, these discs made by the VRD-MC3 play ok on the PC and on other equipment, but on import there is an error that appears regarding this last chapter - stating that Vegas cannot read the file format or the media, this is the same for ALL DVDirect discs, and yet I can see this chapter in the DVD Player, on both PC and hardware players.
However if I attempt to bring the last VOB into the project manually, (which does not retain chapter arrangements) then that seems to import fine, I don't understand why, this looks to be a flaw in the import DVD-Camcorder disc feature where it cannot find track the last chapter.
Regards,
Sean
