By import, you mean that you dragged it onto the timeline? The wmv file could be incompatible.

Does it cost $$$? Here's some basic info that I have on one of the videos:

Two chanels of sound.
44 kHz
I've tried my best to translate the infos (my laptop is in Chinese). It used to work when I tried to download videos from YouTube using the software (I need to convert the videos, which are .wmv, into .wmv again).
EDIT: Just got the software, please tell me what infos you need, because I can't copy the texts and don't have time to type them all.

With the file open in MediaInfo, in the View > Text mode, you can drag over the contents of the view to copy it and paste here.

Again, what do you mean by "import"? Are you simply dragging it onto the timeline?

1. If you are talking about WIndows Media Player, then YES.
2. I mean just putting it on the timeline (dragging, explorer, etc.)

Is it just that one file or other files that were converted the same way?

You may need to convert using a different format/settings.

I am having the same problem, I think.

It will not open any of my videos. They are mp4 video type and the videos play in Windows Media Player.

So far it has only opened the AVCHD videos.

Why won't they open? Any help is appreciated.

What are some recommended formats (except .AVI, it's to big)
