I can't seem to use .mpeg files in my video factory projects....The only file types I can import are .avi.
Is there some update or some way to use .mpeg files in Video Factory. .avi files are too huge to work with, as they eat up my hard drive space in no time.
mpeg files do not edit well. Whenever I tried I got drop-out in audio, and other artifacts. I think others have commented on this site about svcd or mpeg2's not being good to edit. Keep in mind they are already compressed, that makes it worse to edit as well. the_ripper
okay, but my problem is even trying to get the mpeg file into the videofactory editor....it won't let me drag the file to the track.
I will deal with the poor quality results when I get to them....right now, I am just wondering if there is a patch or something that will allow me to import an mpeg file into my Video Factory project.
The only mpegs I had trouble with is Mpeg 4, DIVX....MPEG 2's were never an issue, they always just dropped in. My guess is the source of MPegs you are using are of a different codec. the_ripper
