Import gif but not as a button

I've inserted a short gif into the menu, but it's being treated as a button. When I click on it, the gif plays on the full screen. I just want the gif to run in the background without having button attributes. How do I remove the button settings?

There are three ways you can insert a graphic into a menu, depending on what result you want.

1. You can use Insert > Graphic. In this case it will just overlay the background. At least on my setup an animated gif doesn't play.

2. You can select it as the Background Media for your menu, in whick case it will play in the background. You can choose to loop it or not.

3. You can drag it onto the menu from the Explorer window, in which case you get the result you described.
