I am using the latest Sony Vegas Platinum 17 software. When trying to add iPhone footage (.MOV) the error returns "file is an unsupported format." Recently I deleted all Quicktime Pro files. I am using Windows 10 and Chrome. I am uploading from iPhone to Google Drive and downloading to hard drive.
j-v, Thank You! I did not see that feature. After trying it, I re-installed Quicktime 7 only to find that Platinum 17 required the Apple Support App to be installed. Apple quit supporting Quicktime. At Sony Vegas Support under FAQ I found a link to "import .mov files." That linked to this: my.hidrive.com/Ink/kKgqGFOU#file where I was able to download Quicktime_Alternative_322.exe. I had to uninstall Quicktime 7 to install the alternative. My iPhone files were imported and added to media perfectly. I am on my way to editing. Thanks again for your assistance.
