Import Previous Rendered DVD

About 2 years ago I made a DVD of a friends wedding. The software I used could not encode in digital sound so the DVD was made with just normal 2 channel sound. Now I have DVD-A. I would like to import this DVD in to DVD-A and have it recode the sound for digital output. When I try to import the DVD files, they are not even recognized. The files are the IFO's and such that play on the DVD player.

Any help is appreciated!
Thanks in advance as always..
Steve

The IFO are navigation files. All the video and audio are in the VOB files. You will need to "de-mux" the VOB into separate audio and video files using something other than DVDA. You can then import these into DVDA.

In some situations, depending on how simple the VOB file is, I have been able to put the VOB file directly into DVDA and get both the audio and video. This seems to work with DVDs created by DVDA itself.
