Import Project from After Effects(AE) to Sony Vega

There is project in AE , but I am not familiar with AE , is there way to import project from AE to Sony Vegas 10/11. It looks like AE project has 7 composite layers.
I appreciate your advice on this.

You cannot directly import an AE project into Vegas.

If you want to build the same in Vegas then AE's layers work the same as tracks in Vegas. Some of AE's compositing modes have an equivalent in Vegas, even with the same name. Within an AE project you may well find nested compositiions, they are roughly equivalent to using nested projects in Vegas.

Beyond that there is such a host of functionality in AE that is missing in Vegas and every other NLE that you may find things that are tricky although not impossible to translate into Vegas.

If you have AE it is a very rewarding application to learn in my experience and there's a heap of excellent training available for it, a lot of it free.
