Import Rasterized SWF from AE?

AE is awesome for creating animated titles and importing them in to Vegas via swf. Its amazing how render time is almost nothing and playback in the vegas timeline is great. One question though. If i want to add any effects to the text, like a drop shadow or glow from an AE filter... i have the select the rasterize option in AE for output or it will ignore everything i try to output that is not a vector object. If i rasterize it the SWF plays fine, but not in vegas,,, i get a big red screen.. very wierd... so my question is.. can vegas import a rasterized compressed swf? thanks!!!!

Vegas cannot import rasterized SWF files - only vector based.

But.... whay restrict yourself to SWF? Just export as uncompressed AVI with alpha - or some other format like that.

Well i arived at AE after spending 3 days lookign for a program to do animated text... i went through Grafiiti... didnt like it very much... the foudn oput about the swf import and decided to tyr allthose flash programs but they didnt give very good text control options... then i came to after effects and mow that im here maybe ill just do the uncompressed avi... but its the render times and file size im probably worried about...
