Importing 2 separate vf files

I'm having trouble trying to get 2 separate vf files to show on the same timeline. I've trimmed both avi files and now I want to splice them together but vegas studio 6 won't let me import one into the other. I hope that makes sense? The movie is of 2 kids being asked questions and now I want to put them together on the same windows media file. Thanks for any help you can give me.

You've got a couple of options.

1) Open up Vegas twice, one .vf file in each so that you have both open at the same time. Copy everything on the timeline in the second one, then paste on the timeline in the first one.

2) Render the second one to a new DV .avi file. Then add that new .avi file to the end of the first project's timeline.
