importing bloggie 3d video - audio mismatch

im trying to import sony bloggie 3D video (mp4) into Vegas Pro, but in the timeline, the audio stops short of the full video clip...putting several clips together results in an annoying drop in audio between clips.

I have project properties set correctly (used match media to the media I am importing)...what else could be causing this??? a framerate mixup somewhere?

I know I can manually stretch the audio or shrink the video but would rather not go through that.

Use the software that came with your camera, or Device Explorer in Vegas to import your media, but not Windows Explorer.

If problems persist, contact Sony Technical Support.

just noticed something....this only happens when i first move clips from the browser/explorer window (within the Vegas software) to the project media list. When I put media list items on the project timeline by dragging from the media list window, the audio ends up getting cut short.

when I add clips directly to the timeline from the browser/explorer window, the audio/video clips match up....what the heck?

okay now that isn't true....i just went back to the software and tried working from the Vegas browser window only and now those clips are not matching up either!

As Musicvid said - Use the software that came with your camera to collect the 2Gb clips into one complete file.

Did you ever resolve this? I'm having similar problems with a different (2D) camera.
