importing captured video

when importing captured video can vegas lay out a series of files by the creation date instead of when they were captured or the name?

is there any way to "shuffle" (a pro tools term) based on creation date (date it was filmed)

This may help - in Project Media, using Detailed view, you can sort under any of the column categories - Time Code, Length, Name, Size, Date Last Modified, etc etc. Click on the header bar for any column, and the media will sort by that category - click again and order is reversed.
