A client wants me to edit 1.5 hours of footage that was shot on a Varicam and captured in Final cut Pro as DVCPRO HD.

I'm using Vegas 8 on a PC, of course.

They are asking the best format for delivery on a hard drive.

I know there are codec issues.

Does anyone know the proper workflow from FCP 6? What are the best FCP settings so I can work with their files while retaining HD quality?

I do have Raylight installed on my system. They do not.
