'Importing' Edit details back into Vegas

I have copied and pasted from Vegas to excel, made some changes and now I would like to paste the Modified Excel Edit Details into a NEW project, doesn't seem to work. Any ideas?

The only parameter i was able to edit this way was region, if i remember. Very sad, cause it would be so much usefull...
