Importing .MOV and .SWF into Sony Vegas 6.0

Why am I having so much trouble importing these files? I cannot seem to find any detailed information as to what file forms and versions Sony Vegas 6.0 supports. Any ideas?

With Quicktime, Vegas can support whatever quicktime can feed to it. So if the quicktime player can play it then Vegas should be able to also.

To write some quicktime formats you might need to purchase Quicktime Pro.

For SWF, Vegas supports very basic swf files. I think, but am not sure, that Vegas supports up to version 4. The main thing is that the swf files have to be very basic and straightforward. no actionscript or anything like that.
