Importing .mov files

When attempting to import Quick Time Movie, I am getting the video track only, no audio. In the Import media dialogue window, the (partial) message for the audio info is "Stream attributes could not"...
and no length is given. The audio plays in the Quick Time Player.

Without more information about your files, specifically the codecs used, the two most common solutions (in order of simplicity) are:

-- Rename your file extension from .mov to .mp4
-- Roll back your Quictime Player to version 7.6
