Importing .MOV Files Into Vegas

Will all versions of Vegas (Movie Studio and Pro editions) allow the usage of Quicktime .MOV files on the timeline? I have a friend who's thinking about the Movie Studio version, and wants to know, since .MOV files are what her only camera produces. Thanks in advance for the information.

The Pro version will accept .mov on time line. Not sure about the Studio versions.

If you install QuickTime with all components (specifically the Authoring component), then all versions of Vegas, Vegas Studio, Sound Forge, Sound Forge Studio, ACID, and ACID Studio should be able to open and save .mov files.

No, just Quicktime 7.5.5, with all its components installed.
