Importing Multiple Audio Files into Separate Tracks Automatically

I use Vegas Pro (Vegas Pro 18, Windows 10) primarily for music editing and mixing. Some productions have up to 40 tracks that I need to import at once. If I grab and move multiple WAV files into the timeline, they line up loading end to end on the first track. Instead, what needs to happen is for a group of WAVs to separate and load automatically into individual tracks. I cannot find a tool in VP to accomplish this. Otherwise the WAV files have to be dragged into the timeline one by one. Any help appreciated, thank you.

@Carl-Weingarten Hi, Select your media, right click and drag onto the timeline, a pop-up will show - Add across tracks. this works with audio too.
