I need to edit some surveillance video. My deadline is looming. I attempted to drag & drop to the time line, etc. No go.
Displayed message was "Unable to determine video stream attributes".
The raw video clips will play in Windows Media Player, I was also able to convert the files in Windows Movie maker to DV NTSC, which I then could import and edit [Vegas Pro 8.0b].
However, I would like take advantage of the higher resolution from of the raw files. I need to do some close up, detail work.
The raw video file attributes are as follows:
16 fps
1280 X 1024
data rate 3878 kpbs
aspect ratio 5:4
dshow .avi
Windows media Player obviously has the codec needed to play this video.
Does Vegas not have this codec, or am i missing something obvious?
Thanks, in advance, for your help.
