importing .swf into vegas

what I'm trying to accomplish:
I would like to create a small text logo that will appear over my primary video in the bottom left of the screen. This text logo is animated and rotates 360 degrees.

I am not lazy and have searched the forum and the internet as well as the sony support site. It seems that perhaps the .swf I'm trying to use is not compatible. I also tried the publish to .avi trick. after i imported, vegas seemed to handle the avi like a single .gif or .jpeg and the animation was not functioning.

Can someone help me with this? Can bluff titler do this? Do I need adobe after effects or something else like that?

I'm using flash cs4 pro. Thank you for your time in advance.

Not an expert, but VMS won't handle .swf for me, so I saved the .swf file as a .gif instead and it worked fine (don't forget to set compositing mode to multiply). However, what it sounds like you are trying to do can be done rather easily in VMS with Pan/Crop or Track motion. Sorry not a better reply, but figured a poor one might be better than none. Let us know if this helps at all. Cin
