My problem is after I make a 1.4gig disc with my sony handy cam then put the disc into my cdrom the software does not support importing from the cdrom nor does it support the file extension. How do I import video from my handycam to Vegas movie studio?
Just one more thing, Before I bought this sony handy cam I wrote to sony asking specificly if I could do this and they said yes I could, so they lied to me the rat bastards!
Hi Ralph :O), have you found something new about editing video from your Handycam? I have been searching the market for few month and I have not found a software that would be compatible with my DVD 201 Handycam. I have the same problem as you. I just bought Movie Studio + DVD software today and the manager of that Sony store told me this will work with my camcorder for sure. So I am wondering what have I missed...:O(( I am desperate. Please, help me.. anybody..
When I capture a video and input a DVD in the computer, the files come up like this:
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
But the Movie Studio does not take it.:O((
Thank you for any help.
This subject has been discussed many times here - try searching for "handycam". There have been a number of suggestions, but I don't remember anybody coming back to say they'd worked.
