I need to know if I can import Vegas Video 2.0 files into Vegas 4.0 when it is released. I have the beta version, and it won't import the files so far. The FAQ says that Vegas4.0 does import Vegas Video 3 files, so I'm wondering if only these versions are interchangeable. I'd basically like to know if I need to upgrade to both Vegas Video 3 *and* buy Vegas 4.0 at the same time just to be able to access my old files! E.G. by loading Vegas Video 2.0 files into version 3.0, saving out, then importing to vegas 4.0! Seems a bit stupid? Or have I just stumbled on a bug and indeed Vegas 4.0 should import Vegas Video 2 files? (I tried several; nothing worked so far).
