Can anyone tell me what to expect when trying to import Z1U footage to apple. I plan on shooting it in HD.

I have to primary questions. Will I need to render the footage in Vegas to something Final Cut pro can read, like quicktime?

Also how do I get the footage to the apple? Will I need a special hard drive that has two partitons - one in NTFS and one Apple reads?

I'm shooting an opening night for a friend who's a screenwriter and his movie is opening this Friday. He's doing a Q&A and wants me to shoot it. I usually do weddings and work totally in windows.

Any help and advice would be appreciated.
