Unlike audio VST plugins, Vegas Pro doesn't offer a choice or selection process for which video OFX plugins are loaded. If you'vwe got a recent version of Vegas Pro, you can select your favourite video plugins to appear in the 'Favorites' tab in the Video FX window.
Otherwise, it would likely be a case of uninstalling the 3rd party OFX package - though that would be a waste of BCC in my opinion.
They come at an additional cost, and I don't need them. I have a lot of them inactive. They just get in the way when browsing others. Is it possible to remove them somehow, e.g. in some inventory in the configuration file? I have it set up so that I have my favorites selected. but still the inactive ones get in the way.

From within Vegas Pro, unfortunately no. Even in DaVinci Resolve, its the entire 3rd party package either on or off.
You might want to ask the question on BorisFX's forum as hiding some BCC plugins would more than likely relate to the BCC program itself, Whether BorisFX would allow a user to make changes to the BCC program is another question and is usually forbidden for most programs in the Ts & Cs.
For unwanted Boris plugins use their app to uninstall them- I remember something similar when I got one but the installer added many that I didn't have access to and couldn't use.
From @RogerS 's comment, if you've not got a licence for the full BCC suite but only one or two BCC OFX licenses that came with a Vegas Pro purchase, go to around 02:35 in the following BCC YT video which explains how to install BCC without the unlicensed OFX appearing.
