Inconsistent flashing on external TV preview

Hi

I am having problems previewing on an external tv. I am using a Sony PC110e camera, Vegas 4 & Win XP.

The picture comes through on the tv but then flashes off and back onto the preview screen in Vegas, then both go off, then back on to the tv, etc etc..
I notice that the tv also flashes when it reaches two clips joined together on the timeline..

Has this happened to anyone else before?! Any idea how to fix it?!

Are you using the PC111e as the interface between the firewire and the TV? If so, then look through this forum and find all the "tweaks" for dropped frame problems and apply all that are appropriate to you. These same things cause video flashes.
