Indiana Jones DVD Menus

The Indiana Jones DVD menus have a neat cross-hatching effect going on. Does anyone have any ideas on how this was done?

The graphics were probably altered in Photoshop prior to final composition.

Scenarist, REEL, Encore, and DVD Workshop 2 can all do this quite well. It's just a hidden feature button, very small in file size, shows when pressed, rolled over, or part of a playlist.
As far as the background, that's just an overlay with motion. You can create this in Vegas for your background menu vid.
