Inefficiant Bus system, especially for 5.1!

I have to put L2s on every 5.1 track instead of having a 5.1 master bus...or even bus sends.

I cant mute bus tracks or suspend Waves plugins when they are not in use...how am i supposed to run a high plug in project

I haven't done any 5.1 mixes, but I can do all those things you mentioned in a stereo project. I would find it hard to believe you couldn't do the samething in 5.1. Are you new to Vegas?

Since the L2s don't understand Surround - no current DX plugin do - there is no way to add a plugin to the surround master.

You can easily create a assignable FX and route that to the surround master. You can also create a sub bus that routes to the master. The sub bus can have up to 32 FX in a chain.

Muting will not cause an FX to bypass. If you want a hard bypass you can do this. You can selectively bypass FX in a chain as well.

I would suggest you have a look at the help file or read the manual. This is all covered in there.
