I am useing Movie Studio 8.0 and I have 2. Q/As about inportting DVDs??

1. When I put a DVD into my computers DVD Drive and then Inport it into Movie Studio and then I put it into the timeline so I can edit it it plays the Audio and Video ok in the preview window but I just see a WAVE pattern on the timeline but not any small Nail images of the video why????

2. If I Highlight the DVD Clip I just inported in the Media Pool it will give me the Properties of that clip at the bottom of the screen under the media poorl. My Q/A is why does it says NTSC 23.976 Frames Per SEC and not 29.97 Frame Per Sec or even 30.00 Frames Per Sec???
TV....is 29.97Frames Per Sec why is DVD so LOW

1. Sorry, no idea about this. But, if you see it in the preview window then at least you can edit.

2. Eugenia already answered this one for you, but i'll post it again. Some DVDs are made at 24 or 23.976 fps to match the speed of the film they were originally shot on. Vegas knows how to handle it and you don't have to worry about it.
