If you just insert a graphic, apparently the answer is no. If you create a link and then make the graphic the thumbnail for that link, the answer is YES - you CAN use a frame.

I can see what is avalaible right now. The question was what I'm supposed to be able to do. In the PDF-manual, page 26, "insert graphic" is described. It states "for more information on editing an object's properties, see editing object on page 27". Wich describes how to set frames for objects.

If not a bug, omission or whatever, this is a feature which I suggest would be included in future releases, since it's not always desireable to make the graphics a link. If I wanna make a link I use that, and not graphics.

Frames are only allowed on linked objects (media, menus, slideshows, etc.), not graphics. If you really want that, precomposite frames or whatever you need to in your paint package before importing the graphic.

The manual is just being generic. Any object will have "properties" that can be editted and viewed on the Object page. However, for a graphic, the only properties that are available are the start time and if it's animated.
