Insert Marker script

I'd like a script that would insert a marker every minute. The interval would be variable. Can someone help me get started?

There is a script that places Markers at predetermined intervals. It was either on the Sundance site or . . . someone will tell us where it is! I've used it . . I'm sure . . .
