Inserting a video track make pre-renders disappear

Hello everybody,

I have been using VV3c for a few months, came from a SpeedRazor-land and the editing workflow of Vegas is really excelent.

Now the problem: I made a few pre-renders of some transitions, and then decided to add another video track to add 10mins later in the timeline (from the point I pre-rendered the transtitions) and pum!, Vegas "lost" my pre-renders, even if the added track don't contain anything.

Add an empty video track over your prerenders and will losse them.

That shouldn't happen... is this a bug?

Thanks in advance,

Luis

Hi Luis,

This is the current manner that Vegas operates.

Some users keep an empty track on the top to use after prerendering to avoid this issue.

Thanks for answer this.

I already do that, but wanted to know if will be "fixed" in upcoming releases/versions...

Later,

Luis

PS: What means MPH? I know what HTH mean... aren't english my mother language...
