The easiest is to add a letter or anything that has been created as a true type font. There are fontmaking utilities that can do this with all sorts of graphics, handwriting or what have you. You just add it with the text generator on the top track, position it and that's it. You can of course use all the FXes on it, too.

If it's a still image (.png or something) it's easy as well, but you need to save it with a transparent background. Put it on the top track. Adjust the opacity level if you want it semi transparent. The last bit applies to the font method as well.

While I can see the need in some cases to identify the source of a video during its performance, let me remind you that it does somewhat reduce the viewing pleasure - rather like dogshit on a pavement.

Wow Tor,

That's a heck of an analogy... I wuz thinkin more along the lines of a Nike logo on Heather Locklear's cheek (your choice), but to each his own... ;^)

Additional note... if you create a semi-transparent logo, adding a slight drop-shadow to whatever you create it might help in the bright scenes.

A bit over the top, possibly. But I do mean that one should economize severely with whatever one puts into the frames of a video, be it extra info or effects. Anything that doesn't help building the story, obstructs it.

Ibsen has said (about writing a play): Cut out everything, until you want to put a pistol to your head. Then you have the story.

Hollywood has learnt a lot from Ibsen. So should we. Did you know that France is actually growing a little each year because of what the French dogs leave behind on the pavements? Well, it's not true either, not unless someone makes a video of it.

Thanks all for the advice on how to get this done. BTW I also dislike those images on the bottom right hand side of the screen but I have very good reasons. I would explain but it seems like no one is interested so i'll pass for now, anyway. oh...BTW Tor,I was just in France giging for 2 1/2 weeks and should made a video of all that stuff on the pavement. lol...
Thanks again and peace, you guys are great.

I don't like the blasted distracting things either. In fact, I have been wondering if there is a way to GET RID of the trash without messing up the video too much? Any ideas? I don't like those ghosts floating around on my screen. VERY distracting.
