Inserting text onto video track

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to insert some text onto my video track. Basically, I want the text to be at the bottom of the screen, while the video is playing.

I'm using Vegas5. I tried meddling around with text presets, but couldn't quite figure out a way to overlap the text with the video.

Place the video on track 2 and the text on track one. Use the transparent background preset for the text (should be the first one). Under the Placement tab choose one of the 'bottom' settings.

Vegas is verrry friendly. Sometimes I expect it to offer me candy!

Drag and drop works with just about all its text presets and transitions. Don't be afraid to play with it. It's pretty difficult to screw something up so go at it!
