Install problems of OEM version

Hello SF folks,

I've a technical question that sort of falls in line with
the disappointed crowd who wish CD Architect wasn't being
discontinued. I recently purchased Sound Forge 4.5, Vegas
Pro and a Microboards CD Factory Pro burner that comes
bundled with CD Architect. My intention was to use Vegas as
my multi-track, master in Sound Forge and burn with CD
Architect from within Sound Forge (the full version).
However when I tried to install CD Arch it would only let
it be installed with Sound Forge XP, it wouldn’t recognize
the full version of Sound Forge. According to SF Tech
support, the bundled version of CD Arch is an OEM version
and they say it won’t work without Sound Forge XP. Well no
where had I ever read that there were 2 vesions of CD
Architect, only 2 versions of Sound Forge. I don’t
understand this, as I know CD Arch is really just a plug-
in. They have been less than helpful now and I really can’t
even purchase the full version, as they no longer offer it
on their web site, so here’s my question. Does anyone know
how to plug it into the right folders or un-install Sound
Forge XP so it will run within the full version. This can’t
be that difficult!!!! I really love all their products and
have used this set-up before in another studio situation
and they were bullet proof. I just want what I thought I
paid for to work the way they said it should work. I’ve
even suggested to them that they let me download from their
FTP site the full version (it wouldn’t “cost” them
anything) so it would work and they said it was no longer
available. Can someone help me??? Maybe even give me a work
around other than using both versions of Sound Forge. Also,
does anyone know if this “OEM” version is a down-scaled
package with less capabilities?

Thanks

Joseph
