Install Problems with Vegas 5 Demo?

After I pick the path to put Vegas in which I chose D:\Program Files\Vegas I get an "The selected shared component is invalid. It is in use by a conflicting Sonic Foundry product. C:\Program Files\Sonic Foundry\Shared Plug-Ins\" and I can't install the program??? What's up? I uninstalled V4 and even went in the registry and deleted everything related to Vegas re-booted but I still get the error and can't install V5?

You need to let it install in under the Sony folder. Just change the drive letter in the default path since you want it installed on your D: drive. This is protection from overwriting the Sonic Foundry plug-ins with Sony plug-ins, they are NOT interchangeable and you WILL run into problems if they are overwritten.

I changed the drive letter to D:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas 5.0 and it still comes up with same error? What up???
