Installation on Pro 10 - cause Xvid (video) to die

I have no idea if I am crazy - but my playback of Xvid on my windows 7 machine - has stopped working (I only get video on it) - and only main change I see is I upgraded to Vegas Pro 10.a

Any chance they are related (it is a bit late for a rollback - unless I need to)?

Yes, I'd be interested in this as well as I've been unable to download XVid from XVid.org onto my new computer which is running Windows 7 64 bit.. Is there a compatability issue?

for me it worked fine until after I did the install.
